Bill Briggs currently serves as The BaaS Association Chief Executive Officer and advises leading financial institutions, technology providers, and organizations with business solutions and public policy guidance.

Bill has spent over two decades at the intersection of financial services issues, technology, and public policy. Most recently, Bill served as the Acting Associate Administrator in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Capital Access where he oversaw all aspects of the historic Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Bill also served as the SBA Headquarters liaison to large financial institutions regarding Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL). These two programs provided over $1.2 trillion of small business economic aid in a few short months and supported tens of millions of employees.

In addition to serving two Presidents, a Vice President, two leading presidential candidates, two large state governors, two Cabinet Secretaries and a committee chairman, Briggs is a widely sought-after commentator and has been featured on CNN and numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, The Washington Post, Politco, Inc., and American Banker.

Briggs has degree in economics from the University of Michigan and completed executive education coursework at Wharton Business School.
